Max Bennion is a storyteller, writer, performer and podcast host based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. He began writing at a young age; a sore, graphite-stained hand courtesy of an everactive imagination being among his earliest memories. At age ten, he started a YouTube channel and wrote his first book at a length of 150 pages. (The former remains, while the latter remains unreleased due to being the work of a ten year old.) It's these landmark hobbies that would influence and develop Max's creative spirit for the rest of his life.
Over the years, Max Bennion has continued to create through a number of mediums. Through screenwriting, film criticism, acting, improv comedy, podcasting, animation and even continuing his childhood dream of being an author, Max has become an enthusiastic storyteller of many trades, always ready for an audience.
In 2022, Max graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Film & Media Arts, with a minor in Media Studies. He writes film reviews for SLUG Magazine and hosts the Better Than Citizen Kane? podcast.
Professionally, he has developed skills in community outreach, marketing, public relations, social media and content writing. You can learn more about his work experience through his LinkedIn page.
